The command to use to view the status

of the Nortel applications is:-

appstart status

It can also be used to stop start or

restart any of the Nortel applications and

removes the need to restart the whole

machine. The command:-

appstart restart

will restart all of the Nortel applications

running whereas:-

appstart vtrk restart

will just restart the virtual trunk module.

The command:-

top

is useful for gauging how busy the

system is as it shows the top (busiest)

processes and how much CPU and

Memory they are consuming.
